Foreclosure prevention program expanding INDIANAPOLIS (AP)
    — State officials estimate that about 10,000 Indiana homeowners could get help in making their mortgage payments under an expansion of a federally funded foreclosure prevention program. Eligibility is being expanded for the Indiana’s Hardest Hit Fund program that has received $221 million in federal funding, according to Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann. The program started offering mortgage assistance to unemployed Indiana residents in 2011. The expansion will extend help to people who can’t afford their house payments for reasons such an involuntary and substantial loss of income, large medical expenses and military service. People receiving up to $30,000 in assistance will have to complete a financial literacy course. Details on the program are available at: http://www/
